Almost There!

But you get the idea. All I have left to do now is make the covered buttons, and thread them through for some quick tufting. I haven't decided to put 6 or 8 buttons on yet.

Lauren got fussy so I made her star of the show here. Do you think I need something above the bed? Some decorative wrought iron? Some art work like these?

Here are my cheap gold raw silk curtains I got on clearance at Smiths Marketplace. I think I paid $25.00 for all three panels last year.

I'm hoping to get the buttons done this weekend. We've had a last minute change of plans and we are headed to Midway to spend the night and do fireworks with Dan's family. I'm thrilled that we won't be having to drive back home down the canyon with all the drunks tomorrow night!

Have a Happy and Safe Fourth of July!! God Bless America!!

Your bedroom is shaping up to be so pretty! I think your daughter looks so precious nestled in the pillows. Do you think she would stay there all day so your perfect scene will not be disturbed? :)

I love the head board. And the sweetie makes the bed even look cuter!
I hope you guys have a great time with Dan's family. What a fun day. My kids woke at 6:30 (after going to bed at 10) so were in for a fun time!

Looks great! I think the decorative rod iron would look rad. You can get pretty big ones at Taipan for fairly inexpensive. They take up a lot of space which is nice.
