Timp Freeze is Open!

Our aunt and uncle have purchased a Midway historic institution called "Timp Freeze."  The last two owners had had a series of unfortunate events occur so the restaurant has been closed down sadly for some time.
A little elbow grease (and a lot of other updates!) and Timp Freeze on Main Street was ready for it's VIP night!  We drove up to Midway on Tuesday night to test out the new menu.

Raspberry Sherbet for Lauren
Foot long hot dog for Greg

This is what made Graham happy...my boy loves soda pop.  I have to really watch him on these machines.  Which is weird since I don't like soda pop at all.

We were with a lot of friends and family that night...
There were a few "first time running" glitches, I think some of the employees were a bit nervous!  But all in all, it's a great place to stop in Midway for a quick meal and some yummy sweet potato fries!
The kids gave it a thumbs up!
Totally kid friendly too...always a good thing!
I had to take a picture of this house.  The kids thought I was weird for thinking this house was cool.  "It's SO old mom!"
Isn't this is a great house?  TOTALLY Midway swiss style - love it!
If you get a chance to stop by Timp Freeze next time you are up there, please do!  They are open from 11:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., except for Sundays.
Dan and I recommend the fresh strawberry shakes - YUM!

How cute! I think John and I will have to make a date day-trip up to Midway to try it out once school is over for me. Fresh strawberry shakes sound so good right now! And that house is super darling! I would have taken a picture of it too!
