Basement Bookshelves

It's been a looong road to get the basement to where it is so far...
Let's take a walk down memory lane, shall we?
Two years ago this month...Dan's first wall of framing.
Fast forward a year to drywall and paint.
 Dan painting shelves
 Assembly
 Will they all fit?
 Maybe?
They fit!  Just need the middle section for the flat screen now!
A few last minute touches before carpet.
My super cute handyman Dan!
And here it is this morning!
I love that I showed Dan a picture and DONE!  He's SO talented - it's just what I was picturing and it he did such a fantastic job on it!
Thanks baby!
Dan will be building some doors for the bottom shelves this summer as we get all the tools moved up from downstairs.
This week is touch up painting, waiting for the projector to arrive, hanging doors and moving lumber out of the laundry room!
Linking up to SAS over at JAG!

WOW!!! He did a fabulous job! I'm sure it was VERY time consuming. I think Dan deserves something very nice for Father's Day this year. AWESOME!!

I am SO envious that you have a handy hubby! Those turned out spectacular! Now you just have to go shopping to fill it all up!

They turned out great! Now the hard part comes. Styling those shelves! Lived in but not too cluttered? Useful but beautiful? Bins or boxes? Toys, games, books or chotchkies? Decisions - decisions. :-) Sandra

You said "memory lane" and I was thinking "money lane"...time for bed for me...but I have to tell you it looks so awesome and I wish we had a similar room. Can't wait to see it finished.
Here from Hooked on Houses and following you!
