Some Help is Needed

I started to write this and I just have a pit in my stomach over dear friend Des wrote about it and I am copying her words here....

PLEASE....if you know of anyone who is able to help Piper stay close to her mom and's not right to have your daughter so far away from you like this.
Reagan and Piper Jane

From Desiree:
You know that feeling you get when you hear or see something that takes your breath away? Once you recover your breath, you feel like you've been kicked in the throat. I feel that way right now.

You see, I read this blog,
Reagan's Blob, and poor Reagan has a sick little girl who has a very rare disease. I don't even know how to pronounce it, let alone spell it. Reagan and her husband, Jake, live in New York City and only get to see their baby girl a few times a week for a few hours at a time. Their poor baby girl may never get to come home. I was "referred" to Reagan's blog by my friend, Kristen. Kristen put it perfectly-'if ever she feels overwhelmed with her life or at her wits end with her kids, she reads Reagan's blog'. Because Reagan has it so much worse than we do. Yet Reagan keeps smiling, keeps posting and keeps all her readers smiling.

Today I went to Reagan's blog looking for a laugh when instead my heart broke. Reagan's little girl is being transferred to a new facility in ALBANY!! That is 3 hours from where Reagan and Jake live in NYC. Can you imagine taking a 6 hour (round trip) drive even just once a week to see your ill child? I can't. I can't imagine how scared and helpless I would feel as a mom to know that such a move might terrify my child-yet there is nothing I can do about it.

Reagan is pleading for help. What else can she do? Where can they turn? Does anyone know? Can anyone help them from 2,000 miles away? If you, or someone you know can help this family stay together-please, please get in touch with Reagan through her blog. And even if you don't know how to help-please keep this sweet family in your prayers!

We are praying for you Breinholt family! God bless you!

Saddest thing ever! Doesn't it just make you want to snuggle your little kiddos even closer? I will be doing just that tonight.....when I put them to bed in MY OWN home. I'm a lucky lady.

I used to resd her blog but I haven't in a while. I can't imagine what that must be like. MY daughter was in the hospital for 5 days and it was horrible. I always made sure sure someone was with her. I couldn't imagine her ever being alone. I will pray for this dear family!
