Worn Out Weekend!

The boys had a late over at my mom and dads house Friday night.  Dan and I took LuLu out on a date to Kneaders and then went to Lowe's to pick up a few things.
What a ray of sunshine this girl is.  She hates the home improvement store almost as much as she hates sitting in a shopping cart.

This is why I go grocery shopping alone.

I woke up at 7:00 a.m. to wait over two hours in this line to sign my boys up for swimming on Saturday.  I got exactly the times and spots I wanted but next year I am getting there at 5 a.m. with a lawn chair.  I'd rather be the first in line than stand there till 9:45 a.m.
When my boys have more Olympic medals than Michael Phelps they'll thank me.

I took this cool girl to a few soccer games and we froze our toes off.  And LuLu decided to run all over everyone's fields during their games.  That was awesome chasing her around everywhere.

Dan did get some fire blocking done in the basement and I am seeing visions of drywall dancing in my head at night.   He spent Saturday at the Republican Delegate convention downtown so maybe I'll lock him downstairs this week and something more will happen? Hmmmmm.

Dropping by from SITS. I can totally relate to taking kids shopping. I often say as soon as I hit the door, I feel as if I've spilled my bag of marbles all over the place. http://apcsite.info/blog

Lauren looks like me in a home improvement store! Yuck!

I can't believe that's the line for swimming lessons and not the line to get a Wii or something. Insane! You're a trooper!

Wasn't the swimming line crazy! I did get there at 5 AM and it wasn't too bad. :)

Hey, I was at Shinsels Saturday morning too! Sounds like I got out of there a little earlier than you - the downfall to the whole thing was that it was DANG cold at 5 in the morning. Amazing what we'll do to get our kids into swimming lessons :) We'll have to get the whole neighborhood there early next year! What sessions/times are you doing?
