Easy Butterfly Party!

Me, Melinda, Emily and Desiree threw a little "30th" birthday party for our friend, Kari. I love parties like this - simple, cute and lots of good company always = less stress as a hostess! I saw these butterflies at Hobby Lobby for $1.00 each and thought they were too cute. I cut the long wire stems off of them and let them take flight with some matching ribbon!
A few flowers from CostCo in a vase, $2.00 worth of gingham made the table look a little more garden like.
Add the cake, some forks in a terra cotta pot and you are done! Except next time get a picture of the surprised birthday girl!

Hope you had a happy birthday "week" of celebrating Kari!

You really are the best hostess! The table looked darling and everyone had a wonderful time. It was a fun surprise for Kari (especially considering the circumstances!) Just so you know...I expect the same frill to go into all the upcoming Cub Scout get-togethers!
