First Day of Kindergarten!

Ready to go - SO EXCITED!!!
"Did you get a picture of my backpack?"
In line, ready for school! He was really happy to be there and I was proud of myself for not crying until I left the building! Graham loves to learn and has really been coming out of his shell lately. I know this is going to be a great year for him. But our home is so quiet this morning that it makes me sad!

He's a handsome one! Back to school already!? Gracious! I'm so glad I don't have to do that anymore! Although the first day was always exciting, except maybe Kindergarten-that might have been a little scary. Hopefully he had a great first day!

Wow, I can't believe school has already begun. I don't have to go back until the 27th and I thought that was early. Your son is a cutie!

Thanks for stopping by, take a peek later if you have chance.

What an exciting day! Most of the kids in our area started last Friday. Friday to start school?! But it does make things a little too quiet at times.

Too cute! I remember that morning x 2. Logan is in 1st this year and Courtney will be in middle school.

We have two weeks left before school starts, and I thought WE were EARLY. Nope, Graham wins that award! The beginning of a new school year brings hopes of new routines & beginnings. I LOVE that aspect, but the 'empty home' can seem rather foreign.

School already?! WE have 3 weeks left and then I will have to face an empty home and I know that I am going to cry. We work so hard to help them grow up and when they do, it is like a piece of us is dying, we can never get that back. I am jealous of school most days cause it is 7 hours that do not get to be with my kids and it will never change, they just start growing up and going away. Now I am sad and I need to go hug my kids.
I hope that he had a good day and I hope that you made it through alright.

I am so glad he is liking it. That first day is a killer for the parents. I am so glad that you were so brave.

He is one handsome little dude! Good job getting through the torture. What was with that racoon story anyway?

Okay Graham is soooo cute! He looks like a little model. Watch out girls! He is going to be great in Kindergarten. What a fun time. We have 10 days until teachers go back and a week after that the kids go.

I work at my little girls school and it was still hard last year when she was in kindergarten.

He really does look like a heartbreaker! I'm glad you're still his number one girl!
