Thrifty Treasures Monday!

I didn't have much time for going to yard sales this weekend. I was in Orem on Friday and decided to stop by the Savers there to see if I could find anything.

WHAT A DUMP HOLE. GROSS.
And the prices - holy mackerel, talk about expensive junk.  Everything seemed to be 3x the amount of what it should have been.
I noticed a sign on the door that all blue tags were 50% off so I stuck to that.

I only ended up with these two things:
Gap Long and Lean trouser jeans
$2.00 (after discount)
Retails for $49.99

Anne Klein Trouser Jeans
$2.00 (after discount)
Retails for $64.99
I know they are really similar in the photos, here at home the AK ones are a lot darker blue.
Sad thing is neither fit that fabulous.  Nothing a few pounds can't fix.  But you know I wasn't about to go into the dressing rooms there!!

I think I need a REALLY good yard sale weekend.  But with two more weeks of tennis lessons, I'm not sure how this will happen!

I'm linking up to Southern Hospitality's

Hi Kristine, thanks for joining in on my party...I would love for you to add my link as well. Great price on those jeans....you just can't beat it going thrifting. I just bought my Mom a brand new cold water creek skirt...price tag still on it...for 3.00 it was a 90.00 skirt. Thanks again.

Sadly, that was the exact store I bought my "grungy plaid" back in the day.

Nope, I have never been big on style...but I hope that the store has gone down hill since the early 90s.
