Don't Let the Fun Fool You

The list I posted yesterday might seem deceiving...all play and no work around here.
NO WAY JOSE!
My boys are old enough to work and work they will!
Their future wives are already thanking me for it.
(Aren't you Aleah, Taylor, S girls?  I won't name the few others I have in mind.)

We started our point charts yesterday:
Nothing fancy...they earn points for things they do (or get caught doing) and then they can save the points they earn to cash in on fun "prizes."

Everything I would take them to do anyhow, but this way they feel like it's earned and deserved.  Not that they are entitled to it.  Graham is super excited about a game of bowling and Greg is working hard towards a trip to the shooting gallery with dad at Cabela's.
Super easy and they can't make their beds fast enough in the morning!

Great ideas Kristen. Makes me thing I need to do something like that. I make the kids do "chores" but if they had some incentive they may do them more happily.
