St. Patrick's Day Ideas

I do silly little things for the kids on St. Patrick's Day...nothing monumental or time consuming but still fun.
Green pancakes, green milk...anything they eat that I can turn green I will!
A treasure hunt complete with green leprechaun footprints leads to gold coins, Blarney Dust (pistachio pudding of course!) and Keebler "Elf" cookies.

We give our teachers a little gift too ...just to let them know the boys struck gold in getting a great teacher!  Corny..I know.  I love having kids and having a great excuse to do little things like this!

Irish soda bread with dinner of course too....what do you do to make it a different sort of day?

Hi Kristin. I could have sworn I came over and left you a comment earlier. I guess I'm losing it. Anyway, thank you for visiting yesterday. Love your blog colors.

My mom did all those fun things on holidays and I still appreciate it - good mama!

We'll be having Shepard's Pie for dinner and green beer for Nick!

I pretty much copy your ideas :)
Gold chocolate coins, green food... yummy!
Usually, we go on a mini hike to look for leprechaun sightings. I like doing that the best because the boys swear they saw one!!

GEESE! You make my green cinnamon rolls look like child's play. You have way cute "green" traditions. Thanks again for coming over to help on Wednesday!

I snuck some green food color in the bottom of my son's cereal bowl and when we poured in the white milk... OMG! Must have been pranked by a leprechaun. It's so much fun watching the excitement and surprise on his face.
