Birthday Decisions

February is my CRAZIEST month of the year.  I have Lauren's and Greg's birthday parties, my dad's birthday, a Valentines' Party with Dan's side of the family, class Valentine's parties, and now I am in charge of the Scout's Blue and Gold dinner.  Ta-DA!!

Greg has moved himself securely into the favorite child position by asking for the same exact pirate party Graham had (which means I already have all the decorations, I just need to make the cake!)

But I am having trouble deciding on a theme for Lauren's (albiet very small) party.  I had one I was going to go with but I would rather save that for when she is older and has a "friend" party.

Anyone have any cute ideas?

polka dots: balloons, bubbles, polka dots on cake with fondant, etc.

mini party: petti fours, sliders mini burgers, mini party hats, mini invites, even your fav. Dibbs would fit the theme(saw this in Martha Stewart Kids and its super cute)

Are you thinking activities or a get together type party?

No - it's just our family...I figure with her being 2 we can keep it small and simple this year! So we might play a game with the boys but that is it!

And Dibs is a given - no ice cream at parties around here, what a mess! I like the polka dots though!

Wow...you do have your plate full! Maybe just a simple sweet birthday with pink for Miss Lauren. One year I didnt have much time and it was just a solid pink...simple but pretty;)

Whoa! That is a super busy agenda! I always like Marie Antoinette or tea party themed things, but maybe that would work better for a friend party. I'm going to try to make it out to book club because the craziness of science fair is over. Keep your fingers crossed.

Hi Kristin! Wow mama, you are truly superwoman! :)
I can't wait to see what you decide on for a birthday theme and ideas. Since I've only done "boy" parties up to this point I won't be of much help. Here were Greyson's themes:
first: winter ONEderland
second: trains/thomas
third: firehouse/firetruck
fourth: batman
fifth: bowling
obviously, not girly but they were fun coming up with ideas though.

My friend did a "Pinkalicious" party for her little girl. It's based off of the book "Pinkalicious" and everything associated with the party was pink! The girl in the book loves Pink - especially pink cupcakes and because she eats so many her skin turns pink :)

Google "pinkalicious party" for cute ideas from lots of people!
