All I Want for Valentine's Day is...

A new front tooth!
Graham woke up in the middle of the night to find his front tooth had fallen out!  I'm really surprised that he didn't swallow it.

The tooth fairy comes tonight...she usually leaves him 2 $1.00 coins and there is always mysterious glitter on his pillowcase and the windowsill....
What's the going rate for a tooth at your house?

Our tooth fairy rate is relative to the size of the tooth and the manner in which it was lost!

That's so cute that you leave glitter! I think as kids we used to get a dollar in quarters, but times have changed.

Melinda - I used to get a quarter! We don't pay the boys an allowance so this is sort of "bonus" free money for them.

I love the glitter idea - no going rate because there are no kiddos in my house.

We give them "tooth Dollar Dills". My husband goes to the bank and gets the $2 bills. They love it.

That should be "Bills" not dills. Sorry:(

How cute he looks all toothless! His dimple! love it!
Bills for us. We give loose change for good deeds so bills seem awesome to my guys.
Love what you are doing. I wish you had kids before me so I could have stolen all of your great ideas!

Our toothfairy usually left a dollar and maybe a new book. I don't think it's always what she leaves but just the fun that she came and lifted up that pillow and didn't wake the sleeping child. Magic!
