I only have a few things I could not really live without as far as baby gear goes and they are not even that indulgent. I'm not an expert but I do have three children so I can say I know a little!First: I LOVE my Britax Roundabout car seat. It's convertible and fits great in any kind of car. I love this cover that I bought off of Ebay - it's been one of my very favorite "girlie" purchases for Lauren and I can brag a little, she looks like a princess sitting in it!
Second: A Fisher Price Rain Forest swing. Lauren slept better than this that her own crib for the first 6 months!
Third: A girl needs a great diaper bag too - no pictures but I have LOVED my Kathy VanZeeland black one Dan bought me a few Christmas' ago - it is the perfect size and has held up SO well!
Something I would never buy? A wipe warmer, a door jumper thing (I'm always afraid my babies will bounce right out of them!) and my diaper genie was just a waste of money!

I love that car seat cover! I have the Britax marathon for Spencer and I don't know what I would have done without it. And I agree with you about the diaper genie, total waste of money!

I totally agree on the wipe warmer! Waste of $$$ and it dries out the wipes.
Check out that car seat cover...Lauren doesn't mess around! I loved my Rain Forest chair, and I actually stole Keysha's bouncy chair thing-a-ma-gig and Peiton loved it! Entertainment for hours...well 20 minutes at least.
