I'll Have An Quad Shot Mocha Please. PLEASE!

Seriously....
Potty trained (we thought) Greg pooped his pants mid session (all 15 minutes long of it)
Graham kept trying to get me to put a snowman in the picture

-->  --> and Lauren was screaming like a mad woman.
I took 2 Extra Strength Tylenol afterwards.
Merry Christmas indeed.

Ha! Who needs Christmas pictures, right? Actually, I think you did a really good job with them. And with the yucky weather today--it's good you were able to stay at home and have your own photo session.

I personally love the third one with Lauren saying, "Why the hee-haw did you make me do this, MOM?" That is hilarious! I love it!

I feel your pain. After our attempt at family pictures a couple months ago i'm in no hurry to attempt another photo shoot. I'll wait until my kids are 15 and then try again. seriously how hard is it to get a few kids to look at the camera at the same time and smile.....impossible.

I don't know what you're talking about...they're beautiful!!!

Oh my gosh that is the funnies headline ever! I'm so sorry it went like that, kids are crazy and they don't even know what they do huh? Merry Christmas...they are cute anyways!

So funny!!! I love it!

I think all moms can relate. Did you ever see that Regis and Kelly when Kelly was talking about her experience with trying to "capture the moment" for a Christmas card? Totally hilarious!! Her kids were crying and screaming...and so that is how she printed the card and underneath it, it said...Have a Crappy Christmas! Love it, Happy Holidays!

I had a session like that several years ago! It was awful...in the pics Grace has red puffy eyes and was pouting...she was a pain in the neck. When Dave got home I had him try and she perked up and smiled her little heart out for her daddy. So typical. I hope your head feels better!

I love your title. How funny!! We have all had days like yours. Great memory!!!

After going through that last year I gave up and ended up sending out a card that featured Jackson screaming and Myles standing next to our tree with his pants around his ankles. I should of had it say Merry Freakin' Christmas!

Your title is classic - I got a kick out of these photos and could totally feel your pain! If it helps I think they are all adorable and especially like the middle picture :)

I think these are the best kind of pictures - to blackmail your kids later. You just have to laugh. Everytime we've taken Lillie (all 3) to get pictures, she crys - so that's what I have of her, that's just her around strangers. Your kids are adorable, period. By the way, next time take the Tylenol before the session! ;)

looks like they were having a ton of fun though...

What a hoot! Yes, I too have had such fun ~ all for the spirit of Christmas.

We are taking our photo this weekend. I'm really hoping that my children have learned the drill and smile for the camera ~ after all they are 16 and 18, I don't think it's too much to ask. However, I know that Nick will do something to make Shannon laugh and it will be all down hill from there. Children!

Oh my. You need a large valium for sure! I think it would be so hard to take three kids' photos...I can barely get a good photo of my ONE child! :)

This post is too funny! Your children are so adorable....especially Lauren and that cute flower in her hair.

I seriously think you should use all 4 photos as a collage and send them out! I love photos that really capture what the kids are doing...sometimes the pose look is too ordinary! These are so natural and it will be so original. I love it!!!

O' man!! Seriously taking pictures of kids is never a fun thing and don't feel bad because the pictures I take with all my kids never work. They just don't do well with picture taking. I think they look great!

Glad we aren't the only ones with family picture drama. We didn't have poop, but we did have a lovely combo of blood/snot/tears. Why does it always have to be so hard?! :)

this is so funny!

I am rolling at this post. Thanks for the much needed laugh. And I agree with Trisha, I think you should send them out like that. Candid pics are the best, especially of the kiddos.

Forget the Tylenol. I like the Cafe Mocha Vodka Valium Latte, I'll take a Venti please.
