Dear Jessica Seinfeld...

My 5 year old and 3 year old sons ate butternut squash, carrots and avocado tonight. Happily and without question.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Mrs. "I am going to kill myself if I hear them say 'I don't like this!' one more time after spending an hour in the kitchen cooking dinner" Olsen

I need to get that book myself. I feel your pain RE cooking a meal and then having the kids not eat. Ugh!

I love that book! But I find I only use it like once a week.

The kids eating well once a week is better than our previous record - I mean, we do ok, but it could be better for sure!

I forget that I have that book and I forget that I have bags of purereed (sp??) food in my freezer...I should get back to using it again. My kids did eat it when I made it.

Good work. I need to bust out that book again. I haven't used it for awhile...everything took so long! But, I am so sick of Carsen scrunching his nose at the dish I place in front of him....Unless it's popcorn.

Hooray for veggies! I love the idea of hiding the veggies in the food. Any tricks that work. Question is...Did you and Dan like the recipe too?
I don't know how anyone gets their kids t eat 5-7 servings a day!
P.S. Love the new background!

Hey there Kristen, I love this blog thing and all the fun people I find on here. I should look into that book, but I have a little while before Caitlyn can eat such things. I do have a ton of pictures of Caitlyn, about 5000 or so, no joke. Mike always jokes that it is my middle child syndrome coming out in me because I have 2 pictures of me when I was a baby, so I go a little over board now!!
