Trip to Instacare Anyone?
Maybe little boys should listen to their mom telling them "Do NOT play with the couch cushions, they are NOT a slide!"
Slide, whoosh, bang into a coffee table right.between.the.eyes.
Luckily it's not broken.
Apparently I *can* get three kids loaded into a mini-van in less than 10 minutes.

Just in Case
If you were dying to know what I did today - I spent SIX hours trying to find a new endocrinologist within a hours drive of me.
All I asked was that they spoke English (like me, so I could converse with them, not trying to be rude here) and that they accepted my insurance.
I found ONE and have an appointment at the END of APRIL.
If I get "next life" I am coming back as an English speaking Endocrinologist with a NICE receptionist. I'll make a fortune. Seriously people.

Come ON Vermont!!
Look at what a beautiful little state way up in the north that you are. Don't you have ONE blogger there who wants to visit my little corner of the blogosphere?Every other state has done it - now give in to a little peer pressure and make a stop by to say hello, won't you?
And WHO are the people from my hometown in California reading my blog but not being brave enough to say hello? HELLO!!! I know you are reading!!!
I've been a little introverted as of late. I do this from time to time and know this about me. Dan is sweet and calling it the Winter Blues. Which I agree with to some degree. I have had a lot on my mind. I have one dear friend making a very bad decision - I think, and I have been very sad for her. I have another sweet friend who has been on the horrible receiving end of mean gossip and a mess of lies. I have been both angry and sad for her. GRRR - gossipy people!!!! (I am including myself as one who needs to learn to watch my mouth better so maybe this was a lesson for me as well.)
I have yet another friend who is trying to plan a basement remodel, plan her daughters first birthday, her son's 4th birthday, has had a 6 year old bouncing off the walls and STILL cannot find a good endocrinologist. (Oh wait, that friend is me!) Crimeny.
And I have had a constant prayer in my heart for those two sweet babies, Brayden and Harper. I don't even KNOW their mommies. I just know I've been so sad for them this whole weekend. I think every mother knows - you just want to go to the hospital, have your baby, be told they are perfect and go home. When Lauren was born there were some complications and she had trouble breathing - I didn't get to hold her for almost 12 hours. It felt like a lifetime to me. For some reason, God has given their families this trial. I am continuing to pray for their healing and that Kelly and Jenna can hold their sweet babies soon and take them HOME!

Hold Your Applause Please
Mark this day on your calendar friends...I think I may have turned a corner from my beloved almost all black wardrobe phase.
I think I pulled it off better when I was thinner and had time to do my hair a little sleeker. Now it's just sloppy and spit up on.
I've moving on to colors people. Or....maybe I'll start doing white. It does go great with a tan....hmm.

Bride Wars
Went and saw this movie last night with my best friend, Kj. It is the cutest movie! Fluffy and fashionable. A plot you can almost see through. Perfect for a fun Saturday night out!Dan was AMAZING yesterday. I needed a break from the kids - and badly. I ran errands and went to the gym on my own while he had the kids. Didn't blink an eye when I said I wanted to go out to a movie. And then I came home to cute kids asleep in bed and a perfectly clean house. Not a single dirty dish, the counters all cleaned, house vacuumed, etc.
Sigh. He knows how to make this girl happy!

First Day of Preschool! Take TWO!
We all know about THIS drama, right? It ended up being wonderful to have Greggie home with me more and he went to Grandma school for some one on one time with my mom. He loved that.
But the kid is LAZY! I guess I should say, just not so interested. My mom would ask him to say his full name - his reply would be "You already know that." Funny kid.
So we signed him up for academic preschool - it's fun but should also move my already social but not wanting to write letters boy right along the fast track to Kindergarten.

The New Dr. & Diet
So prior to doing this I thought I should start writing down everything I eat to show this new Dr. and maybe he can help me out with a few things. Like, I can eat whatever and not gain a pound. I can not eat at all and not lose a pound. It's not that fun.
So, since I am writing everything down I thought I would put myself on a new diet. It's all the rage and I've heard somewhat popular. It's called:
"DO NOT EAT CRAP" diet.
You know, like desserts should be a limited treat, now and then. Not after every meal. And breads should hold some sort of grain in them, not just white flour. Vegetables and fruits should be eaten before they start to go bad in the fridge.
Things like that.
I won't be talking about this non-stop because I get annoyed when people only ever talk about their diets and what they ate and what they did at the gym. But I will give updates.
Wish me luck!
